Tomorrow
We will be holding an advocacy training this Thursday, June 20th at 10 am at Community School. Here is the information From Tony Cuevas (Director of Parent and Community Engagement for the California Charter School Association) who will be conducting the training:
I will conduct a parent training to prepare the parents to speak on behalf of charter schools and equitable access to facilities. This will be in response to the new Property Assets Management Policy being drafted by OUSD. We will be doing this to create long term stability in regards to facilities access. Charter school students are public school students and we will be advocating on yours and other charter’s behalf (We will be also contacting parents from BayTech and Ed For Change schools).
Please come advocate on our students' behalf!
